When it comes to computer programming, I am a complete illiterate. The language of computers is totally foreign to me - I do not understand it and, quite frankly, do not really care to either. I never imagined that it would be possible for me to create and maintain my own website. Then I discovered Weebly and now I have not one, but two websites. AND I actually LIKE working on them! It feels like play time. It is so easy anybody can do it - I promise. The programme is so intuitive, the video tutorials and great and the support staff are amazing! Oh, and did I not mention it - it is FREE (seriously, it is)!
MailChimp
For managing your mailing list & e-mail campaigns / newsletters.
Another wonderful free programme. It does take a bit of time to create your mailing list and design your own template, but once you have done that, everything is automated. No need to manually sign subscribers in and out, or re-sending bounced mails. MailChimp does it all, including welcome, confirmation and sorry to see you leave e-mails. I also love the statistics part, where I can see how well my e-mails were received, which links were clicked on etc. So useful!

Aaah... the über Business Goddess herself. I hated everything about marketing and social media. Then I connected with the energy Leonie Dawson represents... A totally different way to approach the whole issue! What resonated with me was the realization that I do not have to push myself on other people to sell myself. It is enough to be who I am, do the things that I am comfortable doing and show people what I have to offer. And now I have my own FaceBook pages, I blog, I create fun products... and who knows what else is coming...
